It was only Texas St. so not really something that you missed. They were green and white though, but maybe coach Mac can bring in this guy for the d-coordinator to straighten things out.

My friends and I did the same thing in pick up football games, throwing in a "OH MY GOD, FEATHERSTONE CAUGHT IT!" on a long touchdown pass...I'd also use "Well, If it isn't the by God, number 1, Texas Colts..." as a greeting from time to time.

No tweeter, the real “legendary fail†is being perpetuated by our own fan-base. The game of internet telephone going on the last week or so has been down right laughable. Jon mentioned in another thread that yesterday set all kinds of records for page visits and unique visitors and for what? To get the latest juicy rumor so they could go post it somewhere else… or tweet it… or facebook it… or text their buddy….
I understand why this is a story, but I also understand all the facebook/twitter/message board stalking isn’t going to get the real story any sooner than the press conference in about hour.
Lastly regardless of what happens there the world isn’t ending. Multiple schools in the last decade have had large scale player suspensions between the regular season end and the bowl season, can anyone name more than one? This will be huge news in Iowa for the next few months, maybe longer… but in it will only be large scale until the next Cam Newton story comes out… or the next NFL fine for a helmet to helmet hit… or the next whatever….
We are all sitting in the same bathtub (wait that’s gross), and when someone throws a big rock in it the tub gets awful wavy, but those outside that tub hardly notice, and those that do forget about it cause they have their own rocks and bathtubs.
Someone joked the other day about taking their laptop down into their bomb shelter, well that’s what so many of you are acting like… Regardless of what happens the sun will set tonight, and it will rise tomorrow, and Iowa football will go on. Those of us in perspective have little doubt that KF will handle this the way he always does, fairly and with integrity. We realize there may have been mistakes made but we also realize he will learn from them and do his best to correct them or eliminate them in the future.

Also, why ban Duffman? I haven't seen any personal attacks on players or other posters. No disrespectful comments. He never said it was Iowa's players failing a drug test.
