12 Iowa FB players in hospital?

maybe all got outbreak of herpes at the same time... I'm hearing that disease never leaves... oh crap.

I just kind of find it odd the University says they don't plan on revealing the reason this happened.

If it's something minor like food poisoning, why not just tell us? Why leave everyone confused about the situation.

Hippa Laws will not allow the university to release such info no mattter how minor.

The cause will come out sooner or later. With this many players involved were there emergency calls for ambulance service or 911? Sure the news orgs are checking this now. Or trying to get off-the-record info from staff, other players. Perhaps someone will post what happened on Twitter or their FB page.

I am guessing that they were getting their Insight Bowl Championship tattoos and they got infected.

Food poisoning okay my next question would be are the players still having to eat together?? If not why are we not hearing about more UI of I students?

Mainly because the media doesn't care about the regular student body. They're not news.

And I believe the FB players eat separately from the regulars.

overexertion brings that on according to the one article.....Off season workouts?

And I'm not talking about firings....but this shouldn't be a result of off season workouts....some reform.

Halas retweet:
"Heard from multiple #Iowa players & a trainer that their workouts last wk were grueling. Quote from one: "I've never seen so much puke""

I just can't believe that this is something that Ferentz and the Iowa trainers would permit and endorse.

It's obvious that a workout was taken way too far, and now we get to speculate who is responsible.
