Hell of an effort by our players and coach. They really put the handcuffs on ISU and exposed them. That was a solid win and one we should all be proud of.

Fair analysis. It's going to be a season about growing pains, but we'll get it done as the recruiting classes cycle through, placing the right type of players in the scheme. Keep the faith. PS- You look like a priest in that vid, Jon.

Iowa didn't play well last week, but that doesn't mean they can't play a lot better this week. We have as much, if not better, talent than ISU. It will be close, but Iowa will pull it out.

It sure looks that way. Things seem to be headed toward lifting recruiting restrictions & paying athletes. A real NFL farm league. It all seems so strange when something you've known to be true for so long starts to turn into something completely different.

I agree. I also think ND finally ends up in the Big 12 as well due to open 3-tier TV rights and the necessity to reach the final 4 of the new football playoff.

With all of the O-linemen we've put in the NFL, you'd think we could consistently grab an elite QB. A sweet trend for Iowa for sure though.

I bet it will (almost) be a sell out but I don't see the Hawks winning this one. I want them to, but... baby steps. And before everyone flames on me, I will say that I think we have the right coach and a lot of big wins are in our future. But I feel like we're pushing our luck and the bubble...

A great road win to be sure. I'm mostly happy for the kids on the team. Nobody gave them a chance, but they're doing it.
