Wow, I've obviously been mislead. I thought thousands of other people bought season tickets, contributed to the University, and supported Hawkeye football with an enthusiam matched by only the top programs in the country. Hell I even heard that people contributed money to things like stadium renovation and a new football training and admin building.

Are you ensinuating you are one of those people? because those people get invited to special events and get to meet with Kirk Ferentz in person, speak their mind and such, rather than publicly downing their team. Maybe your mistaking contribution for the word investment? investment is expecting return, contribution is something good, positive people do with no expectations of a return, you, are obviously NOT a contributer

So you think that if the team had 3 wins every year and gave nothing back to their donors, they would still have donors?

The lowest form of donation is on the season tickets. If you donate then you get better seats. Do you understand that? You give them more money than the regular season tickets and they give you better seats. If you dont understand this then I dont know what else to tell you.

If you donate to a church you expect the church to act or perform in a certain way or you dont donate anymore. See you are giving but you still expect things. You will not get a refund but you wont donate again.
