Why does Okeefe4prez want to use my ugly mug as his avatar?

Why Okeefe4prez has the following under his quotes, IDK. Pretty immature. "I am growing tired of you..." - Jon D. Miller, 11.30.2010 "I am not a fan of ... [OK4P]" - Jon D. Miller, 2.13.2008

Bryce Cartwright coming to win PG spot (Howe column)

Even if Cartwright does win the starting job, they both could get considerable playing time, not just because there is only 2 true PG's, but because fact is we are simply not going to be able to run the ball on every team. There are some teams that will not allow us to run, and at those time...

Looks like people turning down interview offers right and left...

or stating they are not interested in the job to end speculation. And though Dayton still in the NIT and of course any coach whose season is not yet over is not likely to say anything, Sports Illustrated’s Seth Davis reported Wednesday that Iowa had inquired about Gregory, but he wasn’t...

    One last thing on Keno

I just put this in another post, and will paste it here as well: "Keno Davis would be a definite possibility in my eyes, one that seems to meet most of the criteria I think most of us would want to see in our next coach, but I would not want him to accept the position for one reason, and that...

The List: My Two Thru Five & More

Keno Davis would be a definite possibility in my eyes, one that seems to meet most of the criteria I think most of us would want to see in our next coach, but I would not want him to accept the position for one reason, and that is that although 90+% of Hawkwyw Nation would accept him openly...

Ernie Kent of Oregon is a new option, and an attractive one I think.

    2011 Center possibilities...

Looking through 2011 Center prospects, none have Iowa listed as an interest -- shocking -- but here are some that are uncommitted and showing an interest/openness to travelling to the midwest to play ball (the better midwest teams listed in their schools of interest). Kyle Caudill, 6'11", 260...

Statistical Little Lick vs. Payne comparison, to date.

Everything by therealforeverhawk in this post... -10 PS. I'd like to add on the Little Lick may not look like the typical D1 PG by any means (I mean, those long shorts on top of those already short legs, come on!), but the point is, he gets the job done, and the point of this post is that...

Statistical Little Lick vs. Payne comparison, to date.

Like I said, let the stats speak for themselves. I'll post an update after several more games. Oh, and by the way, Lick's minutes have all come in the last 4-5 games, and under pressure situations. If anyone got a break it was Payne who played ALL non-conference games.

    DJK update!

Ditto. My (white) son, all of 13, would not necessarily speak with those words, but in this day and age with all the kids doing shorthand in their texting I frequently wonder whether he really knows the correct spelling and grammar. And they purposely mistype stuff 'cause that's just the norm.

Statistical Little Lick vs. Payne comparison, to date.

    John Lickliter (AKA, Little Lick) has seen enough playing time now that we can reasonably make some comprisons of their stats. TOTALS GP Min Reb A/TO FG% 3PT% FT% PTS/G PTS/M S/M Payne, Cully 15 478 39 1.20 .383 .356 .690 8.2 .25 .014 Lickliter, John 4 45 2 3.00 .545 .500 .750 5.0 .44 .04...

    Lick- Use the Clipboard

After a score, instead of throwing directly in to Payne, they need to throw it to another person, first, then to Payne as he runs by, thereby, providing some assistance in getting it down floor. But no, they always let the guard fend for himself in bringing it upcourt.
