Actually we did not take a knee or simply run the clock as in years past. The hawks tried to move the ball but ended with 3 incompletions i believe followed by a 32yrd or so short punt which gave CMU good field position and enough time to tack on 3 pts before half.

I can understand the general rationale as they get to see more of the entire field but I felt the same after Norm shifted from the sideline to the press box...the intensity just didn't seem quite the same.
