I have not seen anything on the reports from the Kid's practice. How is the coach that took the hit on the sideline? He got laid out pretty good by a TE entering the sidelines. It looks like Reece Morgan from our seats, but do not know that for certain. What we could see is that they stood him up twice and both times they sat him back down. As we left, it looked like they were putting on a board.

Hope and pray that he is ok!!

Wow thats horrible.

When I was a weee lad I was a ball boy for the college team my dad coached. There were multiple times when I couldnt get out of the way fast enough(because of the players being behind me) that a player picked me up and saved me from getting crushed on the side line.

It happened to me one time i walking back to lockerroom , due to my deafness , another team player hit me from behind during halftime .I was freshman in high school football. My coach was hopping mad and screaming at another coach both teams were fighting. I was down. After the game the another coach and the player came to apologize to me .

Oldest assistant in area of great need for improvement. A torn hammy at his age is brutal. A pull or strain is one thing, but hard to imagine him doing much for a while with an actual torn hammy.

He was home 'resting comfortably' last night, per Iowa release.

What happened was Hillyer & Cotton were both lined up on the right, Hillyer on the outside..Hillyer rant a push route, straight up the field, while Cotton ran a couple steps upfield then cut outside, quick pass outside that was wide and Cotton ran into Morgan. They had run that play two times in a row as Hillyer got flagged for a pick on the first one.
