While I agree it's kind of a no win situation for Iowa, it has become a fun, nail biting series. It's good for the state and it is certainly good for ISU. I know no one cares outside the state of Iowa, but for 1 week EVERYBODY in Iowa cares about the same game.

Anybody expecting Christian Williams to be a better point guard next season than a Senior Mike Gesell is on crack. Before he is done, there is a chance that Christian will be better than Mike was, but he is not even close yet.

I think the kid looks really good. But he will have to sit a year being a Rutgers de-commit. So he can't help us next season.

I don't believe Vital is a Point Guard. I am fairly sure he is more of a 2.

We have so many question marks for next year that it's likely we are an NIT team at best. Hope I'm wrong but we will go from being the most experienced team in the B1G to the least experienced.

I went to Cyclone Fanatic and the McKay thread was pretty good. I think the bottom line is Prohm is showing the team that HE is king and he makes the rules. McKay is very talented but he IS a head case.

Hilton has great student support and Carver doesn't. Plus ISU doesn't have a good football team or wrestling team so for them, hoops is it. Iowa has won more at home because over the long haul, we have had a better program.

Brady Ellingson was rated one of the top 10 shooters in the nation. (No link). It is a big surprise to me that he is not hitting his shots. He is playing for a reason and we need to hope his shooting comes around immediately.
