    Washed up Walkons this week

ive listened to all the episodes involving player interviews. They are interesting, others can get bogged down, just sounding like frat guys talking.

    Washed up Walkons this week

x1000 They nailed it. Honestly, they were more insightful than any reporter has been. I could honestly see how this whole saga would happen after listening to them. plus I liked that they called BS on the whole story about KF spitting at some black players and telling them they wouldn’t last...

    Washed up Walkons this week

So the WUW podcast can be a bit too much “bro this bro this” and telling annoying stories from drinking and playing video games, however they can be very good. I really enjoy the past player interviews. This week they addressed the whole racism thing and it was fascinating to hear from the...

It's time for the Bob Stoops discussion . . .

great question. It’s very simple, AD jobs at major schools are all about $$. As long as money in is more than money out, you are golden.

It's time for the Bob Stoops discussion . . .

No chance bob comes to Iowa, however I think mark stoops could. He’s done a hell of a job at Kentucky and might be looking for a job where he isn’t in the basketball teams shadow and doesn’t have to play Florida and Georgia and a west crossover every year to win a title.

My recipe for KF moving forward.

I like klieman, but I really like jim Leonhard at Wisconsin. He’s an up and coming name and honestly Iowa needs to become Wisconsin, not k-state. So I agree with the rest, just replace klieman with leonhard. I’d also look at marks stoops, he’s probably unrealistic, but make the call.

    Wadley's mom active on Facebook

I think the main thing she is guilty of (understandably) is thinking her son is the next Adrian Peterson and being much more talented than he really is. Honestly as parents we can all understand that. Akrum was a very good Iowa running back and was so much fun to watch. However on the grand...

    Wadley's mom active on Facebook

She also claimed Coach fuh-renz hates biracial athletes the most despite wirfs, geno stone and Amani having amazing careers at Iowa and having LeVar woods on staff for 12 years. I’m very sympathetic to these players, however these videos are not helpful. Spraying wild accusations at everyone...

My recipe for KF moving forward.

Maybe, but the bar is so slow at Iowa for an AD, you could hire a manager at Walmart supercenter and get a barta level of competence

My recipe for KF moving forward.

racial quotas, affirmative action and the Rooney Rule are left wing racism. I agree, but it’s 2020 now.

My recipe for KF moving forward.

Get a black AD to replace barta. That would literally be the most popular move in Iowa athletic history

My recipe for KF moving forward.

Of course he would look pandering, but a lot of other coaches have gone to rallies and looked silly, but they went.

My recipe for KF moving forward.

I’m trying to be a solutions oriented person so here is my recipe for getting to a resolution point by point: 1) obviously fire Chris Doyle immediately, he’s extremely toxic. No resignation, just have a brief press conference and announce he’s done. Elevate braithwaite 2) Completely suspend...

    Dillon Doyle?

    D. Doyle is gone, he won’t be able to show his face again. Luckily, the depth chart is full at LB.

A former "white" player (Jack Kallenberger) speaks up......it's not good

[QUOTE="EstronHawkKing, post: 1958606, This is probably an unpopular opinion, but even though this bullying behavior is bad, it doesn’t approach racism

wrong kallenberger. Mark played, Jack didn’t.

    Bob Stoops

The only way out is if this becomes a national issue. As Iowa fans our best bet is to hope players speak out at every program.

    Chris Doyle Statement

Doyle is gone and it’s going to be a huge lawsuit for libel and the athletic department and GarBar will write him out a check just like the field hockey coach. All these former players accusing him will cause him to lose his job. However I don’t it’s possible to prove this stuff in court...
