Really good game by Brian Ferentz

I recognize the poor offensive output but I have no problem with game called Saturday. It was what the doctor ordered to beat Wisky. The O-line improvement was what I noticed most. Knowing we gonna run the ball we still got 200 yards against a decent D line/defense. This Saturday will...

The Conundrum that is Iowa Football

Contract or not, this season is yet another season of abysmal offense. If anyone cannot see that things can be better than 132nd and 133rd place amongst your peers, they should not be involved in P5 hiring decisions at Iowa University. If our students were coming out of school at the bottom...

    IA WI Score predictions

Just get better. O line took a major step yesterday, that should not be missed by anyone with any observation skills. D is getting better, special teams, steady. Baby steps in passing game and keep honing away at this rush game. Ya never know losers, maybe the Hawk offense will be a...

    Tory Taylor Outpunting Iowa's Offense.

A 5-1 team that punts for more yard than it musters on offense. That's a crazy team, a unique team and hats off to Mr Phil Parker and Mr LeVar Woods. Impressive coaches!

    Caleb Brown MIA

Yep, that's how I see it. If you have another chance to do what you've done for years, what you love at a place that you feel at home at, you do it. Whether back up or starter, he'll be back.

Iowa is 9.5 opening dog to Wisconsin

They're down and we're down it would seem, overall in the scheme of college football. We have the better D, they have the better O. Game at their house advantage the prairie rodents. We have the secret weapon though, the newest Legend in the making, Deacon Hill. He has the intel, he has...

He's gone and the fight begins for the money. I thought that's what we decided happened earlier. Old biddies!

Iowa is 9.5 opening dog to Wisconsin

All depends on which Deacon we get. Starter Deacon or back up Deacon. Starter Deacon, we're done, the D cannot do enough to win it with that poor of play and time of possession. Back up Deacon could be enough. Back up+ Deacon, that's a W unless we turn the ball over more than 1, and...

Howe: Iowa Must Scratch Where It Itches

Sure would be nice to make something out of our offensive players so they can have success, do what they've done in HS, what they hoped to do at Iowa and not have it end like this. I hope the give up is not there and we can still improve beyond anyone here's expectations. I do like Deacon...

    And now about Purdue

I'm just happy to not have to watch a gimpy paper mache QB out there that cannot run and is always on the edge of breaking. I am hopeful for an improvement with this QB change. Over 3k yards and 30 TD's as a junior in HS. Can wing it.
