Terps take turn for worse, fall to Iowa in NIT - CapitalGazette.com: College Sports
Is it me, or does there seem to be a lot of excuses in this article?
One insightful quote stood out for me:
“We were just playing bad and they were just playing good,†guard Dez Wells said.
Funny how 3 years things change... Iowa was behind those teams in 2010, yet in 2013 they are ahead of powerhouses like North Carolina, Kentucky, and UCLA.

First half was good, few fouls called, a lot of flow to the game.
Second half, they called it completely different.
Really sucks for the players, as they don't know how to play through it sometimes.
When the season starts next year, Devyn Marble will be Top 5 in active scoring leaders and active assists leaders (assuming the expected departures).
Very possible Top 3 in both categories.
I hope I am wrong too. He will succeed at MN.
The reason I think he would leave is because he remains at a mid-major that (for a stretch there) was getting only 1 bid to the Dance and they almost didn't get in this year as they went through that slump. Think about that - an eventual FF team...
