    Big Ten = best conference???

I am not sure about that. Maybe be it's close but we also have a passing attack that's big game is breaking 100 yards this year. Multiple games down the stretch around 50-60 yards. The punting game is better for sure.

Chris Kirksey quickly becoming a major factor on defense

All the noteriety given to Morris and Kirksey & Hitchens are the guys that not only made the NFL but are starting. I thought these 2 guys were outstanding at Iowa but overshadowed in terms of stories and publicity for Morris.

    Big Ten = best conference???

I see it the other way as I think PSU beats Wisky by 10-14. I am not sure the B1G is the best conference until we prove it during the bowl season but that is problematic because the match-ups may produce a lot of unevenly ranked teams due to how many teams from the B1G are in the playoff and...

Lost in everything the last 3 games

It's interesting how an opponent missing opportunities is translated to 'playing better'. There were multiple deep balls to be had by Nebraska but they are lower percentage throws and missed. Snyder is finally wrapping when tackling more often instead of trying to make the big hit and then...

    Last Years Rose Bowl participants

I'd rather see the Music City bowl but if we go to the Holiday Bowl I want Stanford. Yes it's not the same Stanford but I do not care as I want the chance to embarrass them like they did us dirty. Let's wipe the smug smiles off Shaws face. That would cap a season.

    A great year

No not a great year at 8-4. That's 4 losses 2 of which came at the hands of an FCS opponent and 6-6 NW. In the other loss we got drilled and gave up 600 yards to PSU. That's not a great season by any means and the fact that the OP would post this really cheapens our brand. It was a very...

That Ohio St. win sickened me....

Too close of a call to overturn. Michigan could have won regardless of any calls. They threw 2 picks that handed OSU 14 points and fumbled a snap at the 1 yard line. Many Michigan players failed to tackle the OSU wideout for a 10 yard loss that would have brought up a very long 4th down and...

Lost in everything the last 3 games

I must have missed all of these forced fumbles and pass break ups by Bower? He's around the ball at times but it is usually Josey Jewell who is making the tackle in his gap. Not sold on his sudden improvement. What's really improved us on the back end is the play of Anthony Gair from the...

    Am I guilty of.....

I said the season is OVER after PSU and felt that way. I am still very much disgusted losing to NDSU & NW both teams who out played us. The staff and team deserves a lot of credit for finishing the regular season strong but the absolute capper now is to finally win a bowl game again. That in...

Here are your words trying to paint your coach as a victim of circumstance..., That says something about Bennett, who said after the game, with a pained look in his face, that he did not enjoy seeing an opponent down by that much, That elicited my response... So why is he scheduling Grambling...

You do not have to explain to me about the reasoning for scheduling some cupcakes but by the same token do not bring out the harps & violins song and dance that Tony B feels so bad pounding an opponent. Yes we play our own cupcakes and actually need some of these this year especially with a...

    Virginia

So why is he scheduling Grambling State in the first place if he cares so much? There are plenty of power 5 teams like us to beat up on by 20'ish. By the way Bennett is a midwesterner who played at Wisconsin Green-Bay and his dad finished coaching at Wisconsin. We know who he is.

    Indiana Goes Down to IPFW

Nope listed that as the only really good non-con victory this season. Look up about 2-3 posts. Maybe you missed #25 Michigan losing to un-ranked South Carolina 61-46. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/recap?gameId=400910779

SIAP, KF's take on Gair's play

If Gair, Rugamba, Faith & Mends had been on the field for meaningful snaps earlier in the year this team is 9-2 at worst. It's laughable because most of these guys got onto the field due to injury not under-performance by the starter. Mends got zippo for snaps after the fans & media voiced...

SIAP, KF's take on Gair's play

That's not entirely true. The head coach oversees every detail in his program. If he tells his assistant to play so and so that player is playing regardless. Head coaches are dictators.

    Indiana Goes Down to IPFW

Let's see how Wisky does in Maui against UNC. I love B1G basketball but just suspect given the talent drain from key graduation losses and some early defections this league may not be as strong as it has been due to inexperience/youth. Indiana did beat Kansas and that might be our only big win...

    Wagner

Do agree that we see a lot of the same issues and I absolutely agree that he can play D. I guess I see it more from his standpoint and that I am not sure his D alone is going to make a huge difference in the grand scheme of our results this season. His shot to be most effective is to improve...

    Wagner

That's great but he's a liability right now on the other end. He's a career .50% FT shooter so when he goes to the line and misses, sometimes both it's like a turnover. He has no game outside of about 5-7 feet from the basket. If you toss the ball to him with the shot clock under about 7...
