Gary and Ed have been commenting about the officiating, overuse of review and how long the reviews take. Dolphin tried to get Kirk to comment about the officiating on the postgame interview and he just laughed. He did say that the one seemed like a 5 minute review and really can kill momentum.

We can do a lot of substituting on the D line so that should help us as the game goes on. I would agree that the Penn State game will be a good measuring stick for the team but I wish it wasn't the first conference game.

I miss Rich Eisen already on KXNO - used to listen over my lunch hour. Admittedly a Big Ten guy. Will have to listen on IHeart radio I guess.

I know he is from Dubuque and before he started doing Iowa games he did Northwestern basketball. I think he did local radio and tv before that.

Paul Burmeister would be a great choice if he would do it. He does a lot of tv and I really enjoy him. Like Balbinot also. I dread the day Eddie decides to retire.
