The side ref was consistently spotting Iowa a foot to even a full yard short (Smith hurdle). In a one point game, obviously ever inch matters. That’s football. Winners don’t whine about it and write letters to the conference, they keep playing.

What game were you watching? Gabbert got the ball out in 3 seconds or less on all but 2 throws. On those 2 throws, the only reason it was more than 3 seconds is because he was forced out of the pocket and hit as he threw it. If you expect a pass rush to get to a QB in 2 seconds with a few 300...

Those 3 made up 37% of the yards and 38% of the TDs. Montgomery and butler were 57% of ISUs yards and 50% of the TDs. Not a good comparison

My only prediction is that by game 4 or 5, Purdy will go the way of every other QB savior at ISU and will be either hurt or benched. Nothing in life is certain, other than death, taxes, and hyped ISU QBs falling apart.
