I was at the NW game. I watched as Cade walked off the field for the last time and watched Ferentz grab Cade around the neck and talk to him. You could immediately tell from Cades reaction that he was getting pulled. I’m sure there are photos or videos out there capturing this brief...

Sullivan named starter. Proof once again that Ferentz has no clue what he’s doing. Not because he finally made the right call at QB but because he doesn’t need to name a starter on Monday and let the opponent game plan.

Cade McNamara hands down. He’s going to get drafted in the 1st round and prove to all of the Ferentz haters why he was handpicked to be the starter.

One or two games too long? Are you for real? We went all last year with a QB that resembled a sumo wrestler more than a QB. We are 5 games into this season and we have played a weak schedule and the guy has one of the worst QBRs in the country.

McNamara has a QBR of 34 which places him 15th out of 16 B1G QBs. He’s immobile, lacks accuracy and touch, and now has 3 INTs and a few fumbles lost on the year and yet….. He will start because Ferentz is too damn old and stubborn to make a change.

You punt. I’d love to hear anyone’s justification for punting in this scenario.

Absolutely brutal watching a QB with no mobility, no accuracy, and zero touch on the ball get reps over a QB that is the opposite of those traits listed above.

Sounds like Stratton is going to fit in well with our QB room. 4 of 17 for his career is a needed improvement over Deacon going 6 of 21 against Purdon't.

This is very unfortunate. I wish Patrick the best at his next stop. The kid was an absolute stud while at Iowa. I’m certainly going to miss him.
