It looks like you think a team needs is 22 starters. Teams need depth. They also need players who can play different positions and special teams. Because football has become so specialized players like Hyde are very valuable to have on the teams.

It seems like a lot of people are judging Jok's career by his last game. Who was the last player we had that led the conference in scoring and was our 1st or 2nd leading rebounder. Defense was bad but there's not a lot of scorers who are good at defense.

I'm not happy with this game or a lot of the play this season but I'm not a fool. This team has a lot of potential. Defense is almost never good with freshman. Most got by on talent in high school but when they get to college they have to be taught and it never comes quickly.

I'm not talking about people who are pissed about this game. There's about 5 or 6 who actually are pleased when Iowa plays bad and only predict gloom and doom.

I'm wondering when people will stop thinking we have a deep and experienced team and were a lock to make the NCAA tournament from the start of the season.

Indiana shot 53% in the first half. They're now shooting 59% and 63% from three. Our defense is lacking but Indiana is having their best game of the season.
