    Iowa "must adapt" podcast

I don’t care what kind of scheme Iowa runs on offense. If the o-line play is going to be the way, it’s going to be rough. The sad part is the personnel is pretty good. I mean geese, if you have 2 NFL tackles and a freshman center we all love, a guard who is our LT next year, what’s the...

Hawkeyes No. 18 in 1st CFP Rankings

If Minnesota can beat Northwestern, Penn St. and Wisconsin, sure they are West Champs. That’s a lot of ifs and buts for me. I guess to be more specific, West Champ 10-2 is a New Years Six team. They will be ranked around 10 and yes, Penn St. is in the dance too at 11-1.

Hawkeyes No. 18 in 1st CFP Rankings

10-2 Iowa is a New Years six team. 9-3 Iowa is not.

Flop of the year in Big Ten

Rutgers is, has been, and always will be the flop of the conference.

The Most Hilarious Husker Article I’ve Ever Read

Nebraska has finished ranked twice since joining the B1G. 24 in 2011 and 25 in 2012. Scott Frost May not need to adapt to the B1G, but the program does. Things go sideways for the mid tier teams in the conference when they can’t figure out how to beat the teams below them. Nebraska has, in...

    Wisconsin

It’s just easier to beat Wisconsin. There is a viable 3 loss scenario for Iowa to win the West with a loss to Wisconsin. Iowa would have to beat Minnesota, Illinois, and Nebraska (finish 6-3), Minnesota would need to loose to Iowa, Penn St. and Northwestern but beat Wisconsin ((finish 6-3)...

    Wisconsin

It’s also Nate Stanley’s last chance to beat a notable B1G team on the road. A lot of Nate’s legacy will be defined by this game.

Frost was made about Big Ten Schedule, thought it is to hard: per sources

So, I think no matter how you divide things up, you are in the tougher division if you have Ohio St. in it. Other than Indiana-Purdue, I don’t see the purpose of the 4 year lock on a cross game rival. Where I feel a little sympathy for Frost it’s that Nebraska is on a 4 year run of playing...

    Conference Schedules and Divisions

You can divide the teams into East, west, north, south, leaders, legends, or whatever. The side with Ohio St. is the tough side. I got no problems with Minnesota playing in Indy if they beat Northwestern and 2 of their 3 games against Iowa, Penn St. and Wisconsin.

    Drivers seat belongs to ............

The 2014 Wisconsin Badgers lost to Northwestern. All other west division champion losses were cross games or non conference games.

    Drivers seat belongs to ............

I’d say that the Illinois loss isn’t a good omen for Wisconsin. The Big Ten West champ has only lost 1 division game ever.

    Surprising stats....

His Low QBR is driven his Sack rating. It’s a little misleading. He’d be a top 20 QB in QBR with a modest -6.5 in sack rating.

Let's Not Put This All On the Offense

I agree that the defense should be generating more turnovers. Michigan was particularly frustrating because the Wolverine’s offense drops the ball all the time. I don’t think the problem is as bad as you are portraying it. Iowa’s defense just is playing an insanely low amount of snaps this...

I wouldn't make bowl travel plans just yet

I got some bucks to put up at 100 to 1 on Iowa getting to a least 8 wins.

    Oh Sparty you've got trouble

The Michigan state legislature covered for MSU on a series of sexual assaults. The school’s board of regents also supported what has been a culture of corruption that has resulted in abuses against people. It’s downright shocking that Dantonio and Izzo are both still employed. Sadly, MSU will...

    Keys: Michigan Game

Feh.. Iowa would have put up similar points as Michigan were it not for the all world game played by Rutger’s punter. The vaunted Michigan defense gives up 168.5 yards a game. That’s good for 77th in the nation. We have the best offensive line they will have seen all year. I think it’s...

    Jon, question for deace.....

There is an odd contradiction to Iowa having a roster strength comparable to Penn St. and yet they are outclassed by Michigan’s athleticism. I mean geez, Deace makes it sound like Wirfs and Jackson don’t stand a chance even though they are higher NFL prospects than Michigan’s edge rushers...

    Wisconsin winning the West

I’m happy to have drawn Rutgers instead of Michigan St. I’m sure Bucky would trade. I’m also sure Bucky would trade Ohio St. for Penn St.
