Actually my history book says that waaaaay back in 2016 the Badgers started 1-2 in the B1G and still won.

The 2014 Wisconsin Badgers lost to Northwestern. All other west division champion losses were cross games or non conference games.

Minnesota has beat the weakest teams in the conference thus far and it’s starts to get real now. They have yet to play a contender. This isn’t Minnesota’s first rodeo of pretending to be a contender by having a very soft schedule the first part of the season.
