I'll give Gesell a break, but Clemmons played much tougher against a high level guard tonight... Gesell better get used to it, he is going to be matched up against a LOT of good guards as the season goes on.

Maybe Woodbury could develop an outside shot. He's not explosive, but added strength over the next few years will change that somewhat.

I agree,,,, he has attributes that we seem to be lacking on the floor - athleticism, explosiveness, toughness and fearlessness.

I think Gesell should end up at the 2 spot... He is a good ballhandler, but really lacks the first step to get by defenders and attack, he is also a step slow defending quick point guards. He has a wonderful stroke, but for some reason is hesitant to pull the trigger. His BIGGEST problem...

should have went for it. The offense wasn't moving other than the one drive and even if you don't make it, you make it very tough for ISU, setting up for great field position. Ferentz is struggling.
