I thought Iowa would play with a big more spark this year. They have been blown out 9 times already this year. I figured they would stick in closer in some games. After watching them play Michigan, I figured they were really on the way up.

Im surprised White and Basabe didnt do more against the defense from the NW big men. Looked more like a problem of getting them the ball in position. NW is really poor on D down low, I thought Basabe could have had 20+ easily.... and not just getting a few late buckets in slop time. This game...

If the Big 10 is truly the toughest conference in the country with quality teams at least 1-10 then going 12-6 is absolutely going to put you in.

i would be more curious to the lock down post defenders coming in next year. Iowa's guards dont play that bad of defense, but the bigs are as bad as it gets.

Playing Nebraska can be tricky. They make you feel like you are playing good defense as they pass the ball around the perimeter not looking to score. Then 10 seconds on the shot clock hits and they start trying to move the ball toward the hoop. So, its really hard to say you play good D for...

True. Upsets happen in college basketball and often don't mean much as far as the direction of the team. Iowa beat Purdue last year.. ISU won at #7 KSU when ISU was horrid. Both teams had bad seasons then.... but point taken.
