Shooting is the biggest mental aspect of this game, IMO. When you have a stinker like that last night, it can linger for a few games. My gawd I hope I'm wrong but shooting (good or bad) can be contagious.

And, they were ranked when we beat them...RPI is what we need to watch though. If they (or we) lost some stinkers, we're at the mercy of our previous opponents' records...not a good place to be considering our crappy non-con schedule.

So based on the current funk the team is in, does anyone really, honestly believe that we are going to make it past the first game of the NCAA tourney? I mean, NOBODY has any NCAA experience on this team - NIT should help but it's really not the same. I really don't know what to think at this...

I don't think this is a 'bad' loss per se, but sure would have been nice to sweep OSU. As it is, this one just stings more because it's the second home loss in a row. Let's not make it 3 this weekend. Michigan is now a MUST win game, rather than a nice to have.

You are seriously predicting that MSU loses to Iowa at Carver? Braver than I am. We have a shot at beating UM at home...but it will take us clicking on all cylinders for that to happen. The top of this conference is brutal.

I think the game is very close, low-scoring and painful to watch. Wisc: 65 Hawks: 67 'Sconnie is overrated this year but they will slow this mother down. Gotta get our free throw issues under control or we lose this one.
