Actually the record will be 2 and 6....it is already 2 and 5 without Ohio State losing. Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin ALL lost in the span of 8 hours on New Years Day. As none of the Big 10 teams were favored, it wasn't a huge surprise that they lost but...

It was a shame that they lost that game last night. You can't beat 80% shooting though. Didn't see the first half but the "highlights" showed Illinois getting these wide open looks. They didn't get those same looks as much in the second half but they STILL shot over 70% for the game. I...

I only remember one call in particular...when McCabe was called for a block on McCamie. He was about as "set" as you could be and McCamie knocked him over. If there is a more "subjective" call in all of sports than the Block/charge, I'd like to know what it is.

Excellent post. Iowa has had some elite defenses over the last 10 years but not a single QB has sniffed the NFL. Can you imagine how good Iowa would be with Blaine Gabbert?

Ricky is going to get drafted because he has the best hair of any of the graduating QBs. Count me in the "excited to see Vandenberg" camp. I think he has "it". He may press a little but I think his will to win is greater than Ricky's and you gotta love an Iowa kid.
