I'm dropping 4 season tickets in a $600 section (126) after 11 years. Fool me too many times, shame on me. I'll keep my tailgate spot and find cheap tix when I feel like going. Seats around me this season were stubhub sales all year, I can do the same and get better seats for less on my terms.

Same shock in my section - everyone from age 30 to 70 stopped and had the same confused look when the Seger started. Kinnick feels like a brand new 60 inch HDTV that somebody hooked a mono VCR up to with RCA cables. What a waste.

That was my one and only trip to Champaign for a game. I recall the Illness was ranked #5 and we just rolled them. Good times!

I agree with the OP, it was irritating. Way over the top on emphasis and volume. Won't it be fun when we get to the 19, lose two yards on the next play and then get back in the red zone on the following play? The chance to blast that thing twice in 3 plays - priceless.
