Anybody watching this College football playoff show on Fox now?

As a team story, sure. I think what Baker Mayfield did at OU is just as good a piece though. Hate the kid, but darn....

Athleticism Does Not Equal 'Jumping High'

You forgot my favorite. High-energy. Iowa is full of high energy players. They could light the city of Chicago.

    LSU -8

Taking the points in the Baylor game is moronic. You can argue relative conference strength but Baylor sagged at the end of the year because their players were banged up. They will have time to get healthy. The other aspect is coaching and preparation, and Briles is a monster in both these...

Georges Niang says Fred Hoiberg was offered Celtics Job

Hoiberg was contacted to determine his interest in the job. I doubt a verbal offer came with it. He likely would have had to have gone through an interview at the least. Does the NBAs require minorities interview like the NFL does? I am not sure, but I think it is very rare to offer a job...

    Andrew Wiggins to Kansas

OSU returns Smart, Nash, and Brown. Baylor has Austin and Jefferson coming back. Any of those teams could win the Big 1G next year. Outside of MSU, I don't see the Big1G being nearly as deep this year. But you are an Iowa fan, so knowing nothing about BB comes with the last 10 years of awful.

Orlando Brown Jr. Set to Announce on 5/2/2013

Because its not like his brother is playing for Alabama silmultaneously. Or that they just won a third BCS title in 4 years. Or had two lineman taken in the top 11 last night. Nope, he was payed. I am an Iowa fan and I am sticking to it.

OT: Tubby Smith fired form MN

Huh? Check out 2014. They have two top 10 kids, and another in the top 50. If you landed Jones, Vaughn and Travis you would be at the top of the Big 10 in short order.

    Where's Pin?

Wonder how long he has been dealing with this. Kyven Gadsen had the same problem with his, and the issue has been nearly chronic since his junior year in HS. you can kind of go on it but lack alot of strength, and it is very limiting to the wrestler.

who was the best college wrestler?

Yes, he had losses wrestling in tournaments unattached. I don't remember the exact number. He was not unbeatable, just a rare wrestler in style and capability for his size. He wrestled like a 133 at 184 and 197. The other wrestlers just looked so flat footed in comparison. Trenge pinned his way...

    sad news for wrestling fans

Do you think Putin was a wrestler? He is a pretty big dude. Hopefully he can "persuade" the committee to come to the right decision.

Or trampoline, racewalking, table tennis. I hope they decide to cut the marathon next. Nobody watches that.

my thoughts on iowa OKie st

Jordan Oliver, Tyler Caldwell,Chris Perry, and Alan Gelogaev could all take top honors at their weights without surprising anyone. Rosholt and Morrison will AA, if Rosholt can get on track. OkSt has a good chance to compete for a crown with just that, and should at least be top 3.

So if we hadn't beat Northern Illinois

MSU beat TCU not WVU. Wow, another failure.

Barry Alvarez just said Paul Chryst will stay at Pitt

I just find it amusing that the Hawks are left trying to minimize the Cyclones. Every other year, when Iowa does well is an overhyped B1G, we get the "Iowa doesn't care about ISU" speech. Now it appears you only post in ISU threads. Your insecurity is always entertaining.

    Big Ten eyeing UNC, Kansas?

You don't know what you are talking about. Teams in the Big12 currently net $28 MM a year in TV revenue. There would be hardly any financial gain, and a grant of rights is built to hold up in court. Kansas signed one. The person from Kansas who is in the know is obviously not.
