More IL football recruits on Iowa radar 4/23

I'll go to the first game of the year in nothing but a black/yellow speedo if Ty Isaac comes to Iowa.

If I'm worried about one thing.. it's the lack of quality RBs in the 2013 class (in areas we can recruit in) and our offers out.. several kids seem to already be committed that we had targeted..

And Ty Isaac seems a bit out of reach, IMO..

I'd be pretty happy if we landed one of those guys...but even that is a stretch IMO.

Once those guys are off the board, we will land some nice talent from Illinois.

High School Football: Illinois

I added the teams some of these players put in parentheses(incomplete-off the top of my head) have committed to. UM and USC are said to be the leaders for Isaac, and Auburn recently entered the picture. Pocic, is said to be favoring OSU and Bailey is said to favor Nebraska. i'm not following recruiting that closely so...take with a grain of salt.

1. Ty Isaac, Joliet Catholic RB 6-3 215

How'd that work out for KF last time illannoy changed coaches?
Bain, Doering, Richardson, and Christensen all say hi.

Hey Vintage you must be blind dude. That class was part of a team that was a Stanzi injury away from maybe being undefeated. I believe the entire class was a Top 10 class. When Kurt gets top players he has indeed done something with them.

It also kinda bothers me that none of the prospects from Iowa are rated on 247.. (Campos, Wisniewski, Raridon)

The 05 class not working out has no bearing on future recruiting. The odds of that many guys not working out is a very rare occurrence.

If Iowa got a class that highly ranked every year it would be great.
