How exactly would he have helped Iowa this year?? with is 28% FG percentage or his .9 pts per game in his almost 10 min per game?

I think we dodged one there. People were saying he wasn't not a B1G player and by what I saw this year, this seems correct.

Too small, and too limited offensively.

Cant help but find this very funny. The guy made an idiotic decision to go to UT out of spite.

Right up there in the Brains department with Brandon Wegher and AJ Derby.

I remember several on this site losing their minds because FM wasn't chasing Washpun. Wish I could remember who they were. Looks like FM knows best, afterall.

Letting Marble develop at his natural position would be a positive. And he is better than Stubbs who saw time when Bryce was hurt

Locking up a scholarship for 4 years so that he could play Branden Stubbs 39 minutes - total! - this season?!? I don't think so. Clemmons>Washpun, and that's what it really comes down to.

Sounds like if Tennessee offers, he's gone. If we can't keep a 2nd tier recruit from Iowa that lives 30 minutes away then this staff has some serious issues. Recruiting is not going well right now and this would be a huge blow at this point. If Washpun doesn't want to play for Iowa what are others going to think?

This is frustrating because this staff has had ALL season to recruit for next year, not 2 months like last season. I understand Cartwright came in May but when you have had all year to recruit you shouldn't have to scramble to find a point guard in May AGAIN! I'm not shocked he'd choose Tennessee but Fran is really struggling with recruiting right now.

marble developed just fine. tying up a schollie for 4 years to play 2 min per game this year is asnine.

What is this HawkeyeRyno? Did he see that Iowa is among the recruiting ranks of Kentucky and North Carolina because two incoming recruits are playing the All-American game?
