Was watching the news here in Austin earlier and they showed a picture of the game shirts on sale in Ames. In place of the normal Beat Iowa, Beat xxxxxx, there new one is a tribute to the LHN and the conference realignment hoopla as it simply says Beat Texa$.

Wonder if Mack showed this to his team.
 




If I was Iowa State I'd stick it to Texas and go make a 1/4 of the money and join the Big East. That'd show em!!!

ISU makes more money off of Texas then Texas makes off of ISU.

Wow, that was insightful.

And Iowa makes more money because of the likes of UM/PSU/OSU. These schools dont need **** ants like Iowa to make money. Dont bite the hand that feeds you either.

The BCS bowls Iowa has gone to have paid the B1G quite a bit.

dont kid yourself. Iowa's relative value to the conference as a whole is comparative to ISU's in the big XII. it's just the way it works when there's only 3 million folks in the state.
 


Christ ISU fans. Don't try to drag us down to the bottom feeder level you occupy. We may not be the top dogs in the B1G but we sure aren't cellar dwellers like you either. In the last 10 years we've contributed to the conference. Not used it like welfare ala ISU does in the Big 12.

really? you don't think isu is more like the Indiana, Minnesota, or Purdue of the conference formerly known as the big twelve?

I guess Alabama and Oklahoma are unimportant because their states don't have a lot of people. Rutgers is HUGELY IMPORTATNT!!!!!1111one
 


Actually I remember reading that because of the Big Ten revenue sharing....Iowa loses 750,000 in ticket revenue every year....we for sure pay for ourselves as well as help subsidize NW and others.

I guess I could be wrong but I have never seen a shirt that says "Beat O$U" let alone one worn by an Iowa fan.

Yes this is true. Iowa contributes to the pot, not taking handouts. ISU gets to cash Texas paycheck every year.

I think you guys that worry so much about Iowa State,instead of concentrating on the Hawks, are pretty pathetic and shallow.

I agree, I'm sure KF and his staff read this board and get ideas to help the Hawks win every week. :rolleyes:

I wonder how can he put a game plan together for PSU if people are still discussing the Clones?

So, they should be known as IOWEYOU instead of ISU. I still hope they win today, not for their sake, but cause I like to see Mack Brown get all hot and bothered.
 


I didn't know the clowns were playing their sugar daddies today.

The clowns should get down on their knees and thank Texas everyday...oh wait, Pollard already gets down on his knees in front of the Texas AD.

I hope Texas beats the clowns like a rented mule today.
