Since People Ran off Deace I will give it a go with my weekly picks: I was 17-11 (60%) on the Hawkeyenation Yahoo pick'em last week and 5-2 on actual bets:

Some ML plays to consider, that have plenty of Value:

Home Dogs that could win out right:
Auburn +220
Kansas +220
Colorado +230
Indiana +230
Iowa State +230 (sorry, but this game is the toughest to predict every year)

Road Teams that are better than their hosts:
Connecticut +115
Florida Int'l: +145

I'll have a write up as to why I chose these teams later this evening, I will be on either Arizona +13.5 or the total (65) to go over on tonight's game.

My best bet for this week would have to be Stanford at (-21), or Iowa if it holds at (-7)

I was thinking them too, but I stay away from spreads above 22-25 normally. SF has an emotional high, but so does Ball State? SF probably still covers, just staying away from actually betting it.

Arkansas vs New Mexico is not normal (-36), but still may bet the first half!

locked in Arizona +14.5 (-120) & Over 65 (-150) for 1 unit to win 2. (bought points to get the original lines)
 


I can't see why Arizona would be the play. The lost their entire o-line off a team that lost 36-10 to Oklahoma St. in the Alamo Bowl. Throw in Criner being out and this in Stillwater seems like Ok St. is the play here. Am I missing something?

you have good points, but UL Lafayette moved it with relative ease against them. it will be within a couple scores.
 


Yikes 21-0 Ok St. I guess there could be a backdoor cover, but not likely. I was actually shocked Ok St was only -14.5.

Initial thought when I saw the line was Az all day, but once I looked into I'm glad I went the way I did, although Ok St. did all the could to leave the back door cover alive.

I loved Asu tonight but man that line keeps inflating.

Louisville and over tonight too although FIU is going to surprise this year...

Also, keep this going. An honest bettor thread. Deace was really 4-2 with his picks at time of making them/line movements. (he counted BYU which was a tie in his line but was -2 at time of pick and close and also Michigan as wins)...Whatever

I know I can't believe it. I finally bit and went in at -6.5 today. I bet it's because it's being played in Lames. If this was in IC it'd be 13 IMO.
