Draft was tonight

I think I'm going to carry on a conversation with myself about this for awhile.

What!?!?! Mel wasn't drafted until the 4th round?

Interesting to see Devon Archie getting taken 3rd overall. Thats a pretty high pick but could be a sign of great things to come.

Writing a 20 page paper for one so yeah a little bored and punchy.

Two - how in the hell does the PTL draft go off and not one post about it on this site?

I'll take this one since you're busy with that paper..."It's the PTL Draft...that's why!"...

You owe me one!

How much did the drafters see of the draftees before the draft? Is it a decent indication of how they line up talent-wise for the new guys? Hubbard and White got picked pretty high. No Oglesby? Olaseni was down the list a bit. Did the coaches watch them play pickup or what?

For someone complaining about people not talking about a certain topic, you did a ****poor job of giving anyone the necessary information to actually be able to engage.

I went on the PTL site tonight and couldn't find any updated info. Still can't. What link were you using?

Would you like me to come over this morning and wipe your *** too?

This is one step above shirts and skins at the field house, so I am not sure it merits coverage by ESPN. Outside of the Iowa players, the rosters are pretty underwhelming. With that being said, PTL games will be packed with a renewed interest in Iowa hoops. Archie as the 3rd pick is a joke. I am sure he is preparing to cause a self-inflicted paper cut as I type this so he can miss the PTL and all of fall practice.

Hopefully Archie has come to the realization that this is his last year to prove he has the skills to play basketball after college and will perform like a man on his last chance.
