BCS System Stinks: TCU 13-0 but no chance at title

This system stinks. TCU goes 13-0 but still has no chance at a title. If Iowa had gone 12-0 last year (which could have happened), we would have been shut out as well.

We need a 4 team or 8 team playoff. It can be done (easily) within the current bowl structure. Why not?

And honestly, if Oregon were to win in a nail-biter, I could see TCU not moving up to #2.

I don't think it can be done "easily". There is too much money involved for that to be the case.

There's actually been cases made that there is more money in a playoff. The big obstacle is the bowls, which provide a lot for the local economies. However, under the OP's system, the bowls are still played at the same time as they are now. It's a win-win, IMO.
