high school transfer

Not at all...if this kid is deprived up in no mans land then let him chose where he goes to school. His opportunities for the future are going to increase big time now

Down here in Texas the big tadoo is over a star QB who 'transferred' in from Arkansas to play at Southlake Carroll High school (a traditional QB factory and power here in Texas) and whose eligibility was challenged and ultimately was ruled inelgible to play as it was determined that he transferred in only to play football.

I don't see the difference.

i guess its not just this kid its the whole transfer situation we have going in high school sports and "recruiting" that happens.

this kid i get more than others but just doesn't seem right kids are going from town to town state to state to be on better teams to me it takes away from a high school team in which you grew up wrestling with them through aau etc.

and yes i think charlie should of stayed in iowa

Me too, he robbed my former high school of some state championships.

it would of been great to wrestle him again he would of been in my weight class..i grew up wrestling him at state aau quite a few times with him

lets just say between him and mack reiter there would of only been one 4-timer

What year would this QB have been this fall? I think not allowing this kid to compete for 1 year is fair all the way around.

I don't get the whole sitting out a year thing. Seriously, they are high schoolers; no one is making money with high school sports. Let them play/wrestle where ever they want. Same for college, when we start to see coaches sit out a year for changing teams, then I'll be for making student athletes sit.
