Apparently, Michigan has had these "secret visitors" (recruits) that are going to visit & this week it was disclosed that the nations #1 DT prospect is going to attend the Michigan vs Iowa game.

The prospect is Tim Jernigan from Lake City, FL (Columbine HS). Does anyone know if he is on Iowa's radar? It would be cool to get his interest in Iowa or secure an Iowa visit from a good showing. Maybe for the Ohio St vs Iowa game.

It would be nice to steal him from Michigan. The Bleacher Report just had an article on the best DT in the country. Might be some info there.

Here is the info from the BR. They list him as the number one prospect in the country.

At 6'2", 275 lbs, Jernigan is an athletic big man who moves extremely well for his size and can get into the backfield in a hurry.

He has all the tools to become an elite college defensive lineman. He's strong, stays low to the ground, drives with his legs, and has a relentless motor.

It's probably a good thing he see's a game in person. That's the only way for him to get a feel of just how often he has to run from the LOS to the opponents endzone trying to chase someone down.

Thats funny, I don't care who you are.

You would think maybe Michigan would be smart enough to not have him come when they are playing the best defense in the big ten/one of the better ones in college football.

Jernigan is a Florida lean, he won't leave the south. If he leaves the state it would be for Bama or LSU.

I doubt anyone going to Michigan on their official is going to switch to an Iowa lean if Iowa wins. (Unless both are in their top X) Anyway if a recruit comes to Iowa, and OSU beats them, I would hope he wouldn't automatically like OSU more and forget Iowa.
