Mock BCS poll, the first Harris Poll and what the computers think of the Hawkeyes: Mock BCS: Hawks Not Favorite | Hawkeye Nation
Since Iowa's out of it I honestly hope TCU plays Boise State for the NC. If that happens just a matter of time before a playoff.
Can someone expalin to me how Boise St is #1? This makes absoletely no sense.
Another interesting what if scenario....Ohio State vs Michigan State??? They don't play each other, if they're the only unbeatens all-big ten championship??? If that happens you'd see some ****** off people. I'd love every minute of it.
I have a hard time believing a team which will be #1 in both human poll elements to the BCS will debut at #5...hard to believe Boise's computer rankings could be that much better than Ohio States. Va Tech and Oregon St. vs Miami and Illinois seem pretty similar.
Of the three computers we know of, OSU is ranked 10th, 23rd and 8th. That's how
Then those computers are fing stupid and that is all there is to it....I am sure Miami is better than any team BSU has even played this year or will play.

It'll all balance out in the end. We're only two weeks into conference season. The cream will rise to the top over the next 8 weeks. Then those computers are fing stupid and that is all there is to it....I am sure Miami is better than any team BSU has even played this year or will play.
Won't happen then. With the 23rd being thrown out I'm willing to bet neither of the final 3 computer polls have them anywhere near that low. They'll need to have an average computer ranking of 13th or worse to drop to #5.
I generally like the computer polls better than the human polls, because they don't have the bias that human voters and preseason rankings create....but you have to remember the human element makes up 2/3's the vote. Two #1's out of 3 is hard to overcome. OSU might not open #1 but no way they are in #5 either.
