We are one point behind Mich after scoring with 2 seconds left. Do you go for two or tie it up and go into OT?
the OP said one point behind so PAT ties it or...If we’re tied wouldn’t the extra point win the game?
OT. We can punt this year if needed to pin someone back, and we can make field goals. We are one point behind Mich after scoring with 2 seconds left. Do you go for two or tie it up and go into OT?

Special teams play is an afterthought, but more often than not it’s what decides overtime games.
Absolutely go to OT. Hawks just aren't that creative in short situations. They tend to just line up and try to muscle through 9 man boxes. With only 1 try, against Michigan's 9, I don't see it.
CIP - took 3 tries before Petras barely broke through to end the game, yesterday. Then again, it looked like MT had the entire roster in the box.
Can you get a rouge?
UNC had converted 3 or 4 4th downs on that last drive, so obviously they had confidence they could get it done. Iowa, otoh, would be gambling on BF's short-yardage play-calling. Kick it!
Hasn’t it been since 2015 or 2016 that Iowa has had a successful 2 point try? Win it in OT.
Yeah terrible call. Clemson's way too fast for that.I didnt like North Carolinas choice of a two point play where the jet sweep type motion player was going the same direction and the actual option play they ran as all that did was pull more defenders to the actual play.
I would have had the jet sweep motion going the other direction to take probably two defenders shifting that direction then go with the option the other direction but who am I to criticize.

You are correctAgree, but punting wont help in college OT.
