Actually I think they meant that they would begin to recruit other players for their scholarship, but would still accept their commitment in February if said spot was still open.2018 recruits who verbal before December are all told that the expectation by the coaches is that they all sign the LOI in December. Kelvin Bell is on record as saying that any verbal who doesn't sign in December will most likely have their scholly offer pulled and told to look elsewhere.

That may be what they mean, but on the HawkCentral podcast that Kelvin Bell was on recently, it sure sounded like he said that any verbal that doesn't sign in December would effectively be told to look elsewhere....

I'm a big supporter of the coaching staff but, let's face it, they must hope that other teams don't hold to the same strict standard with their recruits.
