Considering international travel and the first game (scrimmage) I will take it. The German team wasn't very good. I watched about half of the game via streaming and I was impressed with Garza. He will see the floor early and often. Should be fun watching the other three games. Connor also looked really strong and too bad we have to wait for him for another year.

Been waiting for someone to post these box scores. CW only played a minute that's not a good sign in terms of him being a major contributor in the backcourt. Those of you getting all nutty about how the minutes will be divided he is candidate #2(behind Uhl) where if you can't figure it out at this point you won't play. FM can no longer babysit you and hold your hand.

Ok, watched most of the game now. Scary thing is Moss had at least 2 shots that rattled out. Also, his defense is effin stellar! Really makes me question why/how Moss would disappear in the second half of games last year.
Other thing.... we probably need to lower any expectations of Garza and/or Nunge's 3pt shooting.

I agree on Moss, he is going to have a breakout year this year. I think 10+ PPG and solid D. As a matter of fact I think we have 5 guys average 9 PPG or more. Bohannon, Moss, Baer, Cook and Pemsl.
Garza and Nunge need to pass on the 3 point shots as of right now, they looked pretty brutal from range yesterday.
I don't think you can judge Garza and Nunge's 3 point shooting off one game with a different ball.

I don't - it was 1 game, after 15+ hours of travel, in a different country against weird competition and a different ball... but it's hard to argue that 0-4 with at least 3 of those being air balls was anything other than awful.

Uhl status improved. Wagner not.
J Bo lot's of shots, few go in. Why not let the horses do it when they were. How many putbacks off of J Bo's misses. That could be a real plus with Cook and Garza. Sometimes missed shots are OK if shot at the right time and a chance to rebound.
