Somebody please explain. Is the NBA combine for the tweener fringe players on the edge to participate. So, the top notch talent won't go which is good for them and the fringe players do go to show their game? Players under them also sit home?
Who exactly is the combine aimed for?

And the scouting report that comes out after the combine:
Is a true NBA talent as a shooter, especially from range, and will be able to stretch defenses in that regard. However, his inability to get his own shot against NBA defenders, and the fact that he will be a defensive liability against NBA caliber scorers, will likely find him either hanging on in the NBA, or having a highly successful career in Europe.
I love me some Peter Jok, but seeing him trying to defend Clay Thompson or any of the elite players in the NBA isn't going to be pretty.
I'm just hoping that someone will take a chance on an elite shooter. He has deficiencies no doubt, but there are times when scoring is more important than defense. I like him at New Orleans. Somewhere with an elite rim protector could help mitigate his defensive liability. Good luck Pete.
