Doubt we'll hear much from him anymore. USC, UCLA are on the up and up again. ASU won't be in the national conversation much. And Iowa typically does fine at the RB position. Losing Eno himself I feel only hurts in the sense of the other kids he'd helped recruit that have flipped also

We'll only be able to gauge that in time... Who do we end up having at WR instead of Holmes and Corrales.. Look my panties aren't in a bunch over it so much as just the optics of it and how other schools negative recruit. Iowa gave them all free ammunition. That sucks
 


I must say that I was shocked by his choice, given the blue bloods that were after him. But, hey, best of luck, Eno. Would loved to have seen you in black and gold.
 


I understand why everyone is over this, we've loaded up on four star guys since the other four star guys bailed...let it go. I'm a Kirk Ferentz supporter, love this brand of football, but you need people at the skill positions to compete even playing the way Iowa plays...see our WR numbers.

In this day and age, kids have so much coming at them...and it's always a mad scramble at the end in recruiting for certain kids. I think the double standard needs to go...you can't take visits, while we recruit the hell out of kid's that are committed elsewhere. Listen...I don't think most four star kids are going to flip after January 15th...but letting them take other visits isn't the end of the world. Hell, hopefully it reinforces their choice if we have done the job in recruiting them.

Agreed, unfortunately we will have posters that update everything he does. Just like with Willies certain posters will pull the topic up over, and over and over again years later to grind that axe......

Just playing devils advocate..or maybe this is exactly the reason for the policy. Eno committed to the school he visited, after verbal committing to Iowa. I had heard he also pulled the ever awesome hat switcharoo, throwing the Iowa hat off prior to picking ASU. Which is odd, as i dont believe playing Iowa was even an option for him.

I have no idea if he fibbed about the visit or not. thats all up for speculation, and not relevant. I do know he picked the school he visited after the verbal, the visit that caused all the hub bub. "Three stripe life" was all the rage and a pretty big deal to Eno prior to Iowa pulling the offer, I imagine there was a reason....

We'll never know if he would have stayed with the verbal(if given the opportunity, which he wasnt), but I would argue that given all the data since, that there's a good argument the Iowa staff made the right call.

Wish him the best, but this story was over months ago.

Willies though, clearly an absolute game changer. I mean, those measurables, that box jump...

Those talents wouldn't be wasted at a school that actually throws the ball...like...70 times a game...

Or...maybe...just maybe...there's more...
