Watching the PTL games

Christian Williams has 5 turn overs and Moss looks like a lost stiff out here.
Dom Uhl is knocking down some shots.
Tyler Cook is an offensive beast but he won't even put a hand up on defense. Hopefully that's because he's not taking it seriously.
Watched Bohannon for a few trips and he is not a PG.
I don't know what we are gonna do at the 1.

Did you stay for the whole game? Sounds like the Moss/Williams team came back and won that game.

It's a rebuilding year. Everyone knows this and needs to be expected. PG play will be atrocious at times. Take the lumps this year and the future is looking very bright.

FWIW, I would expect JoBo to do a lot better in a PTL type format than CW. Turnovers tend to happen when you are playing with a bunch of guys you never play with. Sounds like CW ended up with a decent stat line. I'll be interested to see the highlights.

Yeah. I watched the whole game. Moss and Williams are very capable SG/SF combos. Moss is a capable spot up shooter. Williams would be better suited for a 15 mins per game back up for the 2/3 spot. He had 8 turnovers when I stopped counting.
The best PG in either gym was some incoming FR at UNI, from Wisconsin. #13 McCloud. 6'0 tall. Slender. Tough as nails. Plays above the rim, good shooter, great passer and great defender. One of the highest basketball IQs that I've seen in awhile. I don't know how he got out of the state of Wisconsin.

Maish Daily is skinny but he has nice potential. Good handles. Above average court awareness. He'll be a better shooter once he uses better shot selection. He's a 2 or 3 yr project but I like his upside. I feel much better about him after seeing him in person than I did when I saw his video. He'll be fun to watch progress.

Yes, then you watch the highlights and see CW abusing McCloud in the post and on the glass and find out he finished with a double double and his team won the game...

Everything else I've seen about Bohannon and Williams was positive (Sans Lightning of course). Many mentioned that Moss struggled shooting.

I don't know if we will get a true look at Williams ability as a PG in this format, but I think he did show the ability to create some shots for himself.

I'm not concerned about Moss's shooting, his release looked good and everyone has said he's a good shooter. I do think his ability to score is going to help Jok.

Which probably won't fly against B1G teams. Give me a quick traditional PG that can handle the ball over one that scores in the post

I can't give you anything bud. I can tell you we don't have that guy on our team, and probably won't for at least the next couple years.

I heard Louisville is accepting new fans on their bandwagon following their recruiting sex scandal. I'm sure they'll have the quick "traditional" PGs you desire.

Not absolutes. My absolute opinion. I don't care who won the game.
CW didn't abuse anyone in the post. And even if he did....how does that make him a starting BIG PG? As far a his PG abilities go...the 8+ turnovers is where the rubber meets the road, in my opinion. You guys can hold your breath waiting for him to abuse a Tom Izzo team in the post.

It won't fly against BIG teams. Not enough to get up a top half finish in the league. 7-10 maybe. Which is enough for most of the people here.
