KF is the CEO, and the company hasn't been doing well, underperformed in years with great talent, lost to teams he should very very rarely lose to...if ever, seemingly overconservative at times, and there have been a few (3-5) end of game/halftime/OT decisions that are all but impossible to defend.
Great developer of talent, gets the most out of the talent level, many times has done more with less than most, by all accounts a great guy to play/work for, loyal(to a fault at times), highly respected in his field on all levels(by all accounts), massively respected by current and former players(and no, this is not always the case at all schools), while conservative - has historically played up against talent in bowls - and done well (this is where conservative theory executed well pays off).
All in all, probably too much love in the great years, too much heat in bad seasons and too high of expectation in most of the season in between (success/failure and the terms in which it is measured in will always be based on the preceeding expectations for the season)
Maybe he was a top five coach a few times, maybe he wasn't....but he is not, nor has he ever been, a bottom 5 coach.....or IN MY OPINION even a bottom 30 to 40 coach when using ALL measurable criteria, and using a multi year sample as the control.
You wanna use W/L ratio while citing salary (tough to argue).
Subjective................Sounds a lot like a message board......
