Iowa won't have better RB next year but their line will be much better, thus making the rb's look better.
Once again, that is exactly what ISU fan said last year......

We had to hear all of that crap last year about ISU RB. The sad fact is, that at the end of the day, Iowa's 8th string RB and backup FB proved to be a better RB than ISU's top guys.
Weisman: 815 yards 5.1 YPC and 8 TD's
Whits: 505 yards 5.1 YPC and 2 TD's
Johnson: 504 yards 4.4 YPC and 2 TD's
So even with AIRBHG devastating our RB, even though ISU has "more depth" and better "athletes", Iowa will put the best RB on the field again this year.
ISU is always far more up for this game than Iowa ever is
both Shontrelle and White are better athletes than Weisman.
citing stats doesn't change that. ISU splits carries between 3 primary running backs and the QB position. They had 5 guys with 40+ carries this past season.
and lets be straight here, how much of Weisman's numbers were racked up against garbage opponents? 7 of his 8 TD's and the bulk of his stats were put up on Central Michigan, UNI, and Minnesota.
A lot of Weisman, a lot of Bullock and hopefully whoever the QB ends up being they won't have to throw the football more than 25 times.

The Jack is Kirk's personal house of horrors. We will not win there this year. End of discussion.
You don't have to convince me how bad a coach he is, but Iowa will have the talent advantage big time on both lines.
I'll bet you on this with full confidence.

I commend you FC. Whoever said all the trolls died back on Black Friday is full of ****. You're carrying on the tradition well.
Once again, that is exactly what ISU fan said last year......
Who cares if they are better "athletes", they aren't even close to as good of RB than Weisman. We are talking about who has the better RB's correct?
Weisman put up his numbers in 6 games basically. He was buried on the depth chart the 1st two games, and was injured and didn't play for 2 others, and was injured but tried to play in another 2 games.
We were told last year that ISU RB's were all vastly superior to the Iowa RB. That Barkley Hill wasn't needed, the ISU depth was soooooo great. The end result was Iowa had a walk-on 8th string RB (2nd string FB), put up better numbers in 6 games, than any ISU RB could put up in 13 games.
The best part of all of it, is that idiot clown trolls then show up on this site AGAIN claiming that they have better RB's again this year.........Let me give you a little clue, when you have 3 part time QB's that combine for more rushing yards than your "best RB", you have sh!t RB's.
Iowa will once again have better RB's, and better depth at RB. The facts simply prove this out, no matter what delusional Clown fan thinks.
It will be a game of two very average or worse teams unfortunately and even if Iowa is favored it is by no means a lead piper lock. Those cloned seem to have our number and if we act like fat cats in this one we will absolutely lose.

Was at a conference this weekend where both hawks and clones were able to be civil toward each other. Wasn't sure that was possible. Some that were there were Al Lorenzen and Jamie Pollard to name a few. No I didn't introduce myself to or get Pollard's or Lorenzen's autograph because I'm not a groupie.
Anyway...................I talked with a big time clone booster. I mean this guy really does wear clone underwear. His comments when I brought up the big game this fall? "I hate to say this, but Iowa will be favored. Even though we red shirted all of our defensive recruits from last year, we just lose way too much on defense this year."
There you have it from the horse's mouth. Ok, what more do you need folks??????????The Hawks will beat the clones in Ames this year. Mark my word.
