Deboer was born, raised in South Dakota. He played and coached in South Dakota and Washington. The instant he moved to Alabama, he all of a sudden had a southern accent. There are other things about him that seem really fake or forced. He hasn't always seemed like it, but I'm realizing that he's as phony as all the rest of 'em.
