Iowa also started off 0-2 in the Big Ten and the schedule doesn't get any easier from here.

Stupid. Iowa started conference play against the top two or three games in the freaking country, playing one of them to within striking distance in the final minute or so. Hell yes it gets easier from here.

I think it was a figure of speech and a comment on the difficulty of the B10 in general. It doesn't appear that he looked specifically at Iowa's schedule which is actually pretty important to do. Kind of lazy.
