Zeller hits Nix in the pills first, then fakes getting hit later in the game?

Zeller made a basketball move and accidentally hit Nix in the nuts. It wasn't any more malicious than the GRIII punch on Hulls. **** happens sometimes.

Sure did, he dipped down was dribbling with his left and threw his other elbow into Nix junk. He may or may not have intended to hit Nix there but throwing your elbow like that into a defender is an offensive foul.

I do not recall saying anything about dirty plays, my point is that it is not a basketball move. A legal one anyways.
Nix is a dirty player. In the Duke game last year (2011-12 season), a Duke player was lying on his back on the floor with Nix standing next to him. Nix thought about it for a minute and then stepped on his head before he started running to the other end of the court. I could not believe the officials didn't see it. Nix should have been thrown out of the game and suspended for several more games.

Guys get away with those push-offs all the time in college basketball. He made a basketball move and should have been called for a foul.

Guys! Only joe Rogan knows whether these nut slaps were intentional. He is a well studied, highly trained and educated creeper in this area. Everything outside of his personal, repeated viewing and commentary is mere speculation by non nut tag creepers. Leave it to the expert.

If Nix got hit in the balls it was unintentional. Nix swung at Zellers balls. Nix deserves a punch in the face and in the balls.

Cant see Zeller do anything. You can see nix turn towards the ref as he falls. He my have gotten hit in the junk but looks fake.

I think both were guilty ... of faking. In the first video, I don't think that was much of a nut-tap by Zeller on Nix as he turned for the shot. Possible elbow leading into the lower stomach -- typical at this level -- but you gotta reach really low to get the crotch, and I don't think Zeller did. From his position, I don't think he was capable of doing it. I do think Nix tried to sell the contact big-time, going down as if he had just really taken one to the balls. But notice within a few seconds he's up jogging down the floor. I'm sorry, if I get hit that hard in that area, I'm not up running around for hours.
In the second video, looks like Zeller grabbed Nix's arm and pulled it into his own stomach, attempting to make it look like Nix hit him. He didn't, and hooray for the stripes for not calling it.
Both players (and coaches) ought to be ashamed of themselves for this sort of (attempted) play in a big game.
