Zach McCabe plays for a 2nd title tonight

Game is at 6 p.m. on DirecTV Channel 23 in the DM area. Zach had a mediocre outing in the semis with a bunch of turnovers and not much on the boards, but he hit the key FT's down the stretch and contributed to the W. His team does not have nearly the talent it did last season when they had two more good guards/shooters as well as Cougill. They do have a junior, Alex Malloy, who is a good athlete and scorer, but based on what I saw neither he nor anyone on the team other than Zach can shoot the three.

Hope Zach can bring home the hardware tonight. Given the talent around him, it would probably be a bigger accomplishment that last year's title.

Game has started and is 12-7 in favor of Heelan. McCabe does handle the ball a lot for a bigger player including bringing the ball up. He has missed on a couple of passes.

McCabe's ability to pass ahead reminds me a Jeff Horner and his ability to make a pass ahead.

Malloy looks like he could be a late bloomer....didn't start playing ball until 8th grade.
