How bad do you think he felt after the ball hit him in both hands like that? Ouch! Would that have been his first TD?
I know is wasnt the best ball but come on man you gotta catch the easy ones! It makes me love McNutt that much more. He is on of the all time best at Iowa even if he doesnt play another down.. just saying

I don't know about Zach, but I was ****** he didn't catch it.

Dont believe so, when Nathan was QB I believe Scott was still buried in the WR depth chart.

CJ and Zach are equal on depth chart, I think. Iowa uses 3 TEs at times and often alternates second TE. That will be happening more often this Fall until somebody steps up at the FB position.

On field, neither Zach or CJ has distinguished themselves as better player. That may happen later this year but both are going to be seeing playing time on ST as well as offense.

Why was that annoying? Both dropped passes that hit them in the hands.

CJ's upside is so much greater than Zach's at the position that its disappointing to see Zach playing more than CJ at this point.

Yeah thanks for asking Vin. I have lowered my blood pressure considerably. They have been adjusting my Meds quite a bit as i still have chest pains and flutters but i am still here for now. I feel ten times better than last week.

But in all seriousness it was a ******* monsoon.

Too bad for Zach, it should have been caught. I've rewatched the game twice. The second time just to watch CJ. Everytime he came in he missed blocking assignments. CJ did not seem to ever get more that one or two sets of downs. He would miss a assignment and find his way back to the bench. Twice he blocked the end right into the run play. It was not a impressive day for our TE's. I hope they get it figured out soon. They are a key part of our offense. CJ still has a long way to go. I hope he has the attitude and ethics to work hard and improve.
