In case you were thinking of going but weren't sure, or if you want something to do with the little ones Sunday anyone under the age of 18 can see the hawks first public appearance against another squad Sunday, November 4th for FREE.

On Iowa and Go Hawks!

They should get a pretty good crowd. It looked fairly full for the Black n' Gold blowout. I would think if that draw a good crowd a live game would do better.

No information on when the doors open on Sunday (from Hawkeyesports.com):

THE SETTING
The Iowa Hawkeyes host Quincy on Sunday in an exhibition contest. Tip-off is slated for 1:05 p.m. on Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena (15,400). Sunday's exhibition will be played as part of a basketball doubleheader; the Iowa women are scheduled to entertain Quincy at approximately 3:35 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for youths and UI students and are good for both Sunday games. UI student ID's will serve as their tickets; instead of tickets, each student ID will be scanned at the entrance. Free posters and schedule cards will be available. The Hawkeyes open the regular season Friday, Nov. 9, when they host UT-Pan American (8:05 p.m.).
ON THE AIR
Radio: Iowa games are broadcast on the Hawkeye Radio Network. Gary Dolphin handles the play-by-play, along with color commentator Bob Hansen. The network includes more than 40 stations that blanket the state of Iowa and include portions of Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Hawkeye Radio Network coverage includes a 60-minute pregame show.
Television: There is no television coverage of Sunday's exhibition. However, the game will be streamed live on hawkeyesports.com via the BTN Digital Network. Hawkeye All-Access subscribers can watch live video streams of UI events on the BTN Digital Network at no extra charge. Fans can also access the game via video.BTN.com.

I assume it is just sit wherever once in Carver?

Any idea when they open the doors?

When I went into the ticket office and got mine I asked and they said it is not general admission. However, there should be some empty seats if you want to move around.
