I know many of you hate conversation about Seantrel Henderson.. but i have read on another site that he has yet to make the move to USC..

They are saying possibly that hes looking at asking for his release and either going to Miami or Ohio State...

In my opinion I would rather Iowa make another run at him if this is all true.. i would have to have to play against him for 3 year and he could still start for the Hawkeyes this season..

Im also very aware that his dad is a HUGE problem but im sure there is a way to shut him up

I think when KF cancelled his home visit at the Henderson's he was in effect saying "good luck to you kid".
 
yeah. i remember that too.. but maybe just once KF and the Hawkeyes could swallow their pride and do something different...

here is my take... iowa makes a run at SH... he says YES.. comes in and is an absolute BEAST.. how many of us fans are going to be upset about it? i would rather try then just let him wander off to OSU.. and thats because i really hate Jim Tressel and OSU

If he leaves USC he will be sitting out this year. He signed an LOI previously.
 
How many examples of KF not swallowing his pride can you provide? I ask because I can't think of any instances of his words or behavior making him come across as having an out of control ego that would make him do something detrimental to the program. To the contrary, he gives every indication of having a wonderfully self-deprecating sense of humor. And he has the program operating at a high level.
 
I will admit there is no way that Henderson comes to Iowa and I believe that KF is not going to swallow any pride and he is not going to take this kid. Also I believe there will be a lot of prima donna issues where ever this young man goes. He seems to have a lot of potential, but I say let him go somewhere else.
 
Aren't there also rumors out there that he has yet to qualify academically?

While I would love to see a kid with his talent suit up for the Hawkeyes, there is just too much baggage and drama surrounding this kid.
 
Why would a 50+ year old coach have to "swallow" his pride for an 18 year old, basketcase kid? We'll do just fine with out.

"Swallow his pride"? How bout uphold his standards.

No doubt Henderson is a talent, but as Bo Schembechler said "No man is bigger than the team". We've seen what happens with the talented player-high maintenance Dad combination. No thanks.

I've heard the same. But my questions are:

1. How would Kiffin know?
2. Why would you trust Kiffin?
 
Hawk fans need to forget about this kid. We have had enough bad experiences with big time recruits with dads trying to get into the limelight.
 
I didn't read the article and I don't have sources but I thought I remembered that he didn't actually sign an LOI on signing day because he was going to wait until the sanctions were handed down...am I wrong? Maybe with all the delays in the sanctions being handed down he was forced to go ahead and sign anyway.

I've been told UM, which looked like they would be about four over the 85 scholarship limit, has a scholarship to give to Henderson.
