Yahoo Sports Best Players in the Big Ten

Let me preface by saying, I do not expect one Hawkeye to be on this list, maybe one, but he shall not be named. There is one player on this list that just gets me, I don't get it. I am appalled that he is on the list. When it comes down to it the idea that you don't have to prove yourself and athelticism is what players are graded on is just insanity.

Can you guess which one?

Hmmm... Rodney Williams, perhaps?

Ding, ding, ding...we have a winner:
21.3% from 3-pt range
49.2% from the FT line

He did shoot 46% from the field overall, but he didn't shoot anything but layups, hence the whopping 6.8 ppg and dunks when he did shoot, anything two foot from the rim and out he could barely strike iron. When the information about the player starts off with the word "hopes" and ends with "athleticism" you are done, potential means nothing, he has done nothing to prove he should be on this list.
Are you serious?

FWIW, Yahoo Sports has lost credibility with me when in the Big 12 list the top 10 includes Chris Allen of ISU. He is a good shooter from the 3 pt line and that is about all you get. There has been mention of him being a good defender, but he has never averaged more than .4 spg. Allen at least has proven he is a decent player, but not a top 10 player in a conference.

Draymond Green is still in college? Good lord, it seems like he's been at MSU since about 2005, I thought for sure he was a senior last year.

He's a final four legend. That means he automatically qualifies for any top player lists.

Two players from MN and they will still not make the NCAA tourney this year resulting in Tubby exiting to a Pac 20 job.
