As we saw with the Kiffin deal, the calendar is not kind in these scenarios. If you are changing coaches, you better have your new crew in place before the end of the year to start recruiting portal kids and to try and keep your own. If Beth had the master plan Fry is claiming, I would think there would be some noise on that already and an announcement very soon. Starting to doubt Fry's info.
KF said "shit" in his post game presser too. The freedom of getting older is that you stop giving a shit about what people think about you. Love it.
If feels pretty quiet, doesn't it? Seems like if there isn't any scent of smoke in the next 48 hours, there is likely no fire.

Not necessarily, if the coach they want is internal then no reason to put out anything. Just my opinion but if Kirk is leaving and the candidate is internal he won't want to announce until after the bowl game to avoid all the interviews and press. He won't want to do that to the team and create a distraction.
It could also be a case there is an agreement in understanding and it is agreed upon that the announcement comes later. Lots of different ways to do it if they know who they want if the job is in fact available.
